Christine Hodecker-George was born in Lynn, Massachusetts and grew up in New Hampshire.  Having been downsized from a corporate career in sales, in January of 2005, she seized the opportunity to pursue her life long passion for the arts. Christine is self taught in  watercolor , oil and pastel painting.  Her subjects encompass the people, places and creatures of New England.

Christine maintains her studio at gallery 51, 51 Main Street, Meredith, NH. Christine is also represented by The Cassidy Gallery in Jackson, NH
